Teacher education in the maze of pedagogical innovation

T his the book perception presents of a mosaic of pedagogical points of innovation view in and teacher voices education regarding in Israel and its significance . The various chapters elaborate on the directions , interpretations , tensions , and ambiguity that accompany innovation in education in general and in teacher education in particular . The book originated from the work of a research group comprising 12 researchers hailing from several colleges of education and from a variety of academic fields . In October , 2009 , these researchers congregated at The MOFET Institute to examine innovation in teacher education processes in colleges of education . During our first meeting , we encountered the main difficulty , which failed to disappear throughout our joint work processes , and is described in the present book : What is the object of our research and how should it be defined ?
