Abstracts vi [ ] victimhood – an institutionalized category of victims justified in various ways and encompassing multiple contradictory values . Finally, I propose that the Israeli case of victims of hostilities reflects a deep - seated interpretive and moral conflict in a multicultural society that is contending with political violence .
