Perspectives, Relationships and Relativity in Ibn al - ‘Arabī’s Thought 44 the agent to the object of his act, he uses his way of examining an issue through its perspectives . God is the one who remembers from the perspective of His being the one who receives the order to remember ( min ḥaythu annahu qābil ) , and He is remembered madhkūr ) from the perspective of His being the aim of the ( remembrance ( min ḥaythu annahu ‘ayn maqṣūda bi’l - dhikr ) . No doubt this explanation of God’s remembrance is preferable from Ibn al - ‘Arabī’s view point, for it fits his theory of the cosmos and its need of God for its existence . And at the end of this section he states that the perfection of knowledge means the knowledge that the cosmos relies on God whose existence is necessary by virtue of Himself ( wājib al - wujūd li - nafsihi ) . 3 Ibn al - ‘Arabī does not refer to the question which one would ask : If all acts are really God’s, why should one receives reward or punishment for his acts ? ...  אל הספר
